Fraser Firs (Abies Fraseri) have classic looks, featuring short, soft, dark-green needles with silver undersides revealed by upturning branches. They are considered to be the most perfect Christmas tree.
Fraser Fir reach a maximum height of 80 feet (24 meters) at maturity, and will flourish in fertile, rocky & sandy soils which are slightly acidic. In any case, they must have good drainage. They are somewhat tolerant of shade, but prefer full sun.
Grows at a medium rate of 8 to 12 inches (20 to 30 cm) per year.
